Lasting Friendships I've been reflecting a lot lately. This past April 1st my best friend Mary Ann came home from her Mission. MaryAnn and I have been best friends since we were five years old. Not many people have friendships that last that long, so I feel very blessed. She helps me to remember the goals I had set for myself when I came home from my mission. Some things I regret to admit that I have really slacked on. She's given me the motivation to get back on course. Since I've started to reach for those same goals again, it's helped bring the Spirit more dominantly back into my life and it's a great feeling. I guess the bottom line is, is that I'm grateful to have such a great friend. She will call me up asking for certain advice, and I'll tell her what I think will help, but I end up helping myself out more then I probably do her. Thanks chickedy!!!
So Anxious As most of you know, Richard is from Idaho. We've been working on getting his Canadian Permanent Resident Card for about 4 years now. It's incredibly exciting now that we're so close. In the middle of last Month we were given permission to apply for his open work permit. They informed us that the regular waiting time is 36 days or sooner. We're checking the mail very faithfully at the same time every day, just hoping that we'll find his work permit approved. I feel like I'm on my mission again, waiting for family and friends letters. We used to call our mail the "Missionary Jackpot". I know, it's dorky. It's going to be so exciting being able to start our lives. We've been so limited since we've been married with what we can do, and where we can live. It'll be great being able to take control for the first time in our marriage. We're so blessed!

Fruits of our Labor While I was on my mission, I had the opportunity to teach Audrey Spencer. My companion was Deana Willerth. Deana and I LOVE Audrey and of course her mom Annie and Step-Dad Keith!!! I've really been trying to keep in better contact with the people that I taught. I've tried writing to them, calling them and so on. Well...this past Friday I got an e-mail from Deana with Annie and Audrey's numbers. I also found out that Audrey was Married in the Salt Lake Temple a few years ago! It's such a wonderful feeling knowing that you had a small part in such a big plan. I'm so excited to talk to them!!!
