I know, I'm a nerd. I just took these pictures. You can tell that we both got some sun yesterday at our ward activity. Richard is pretty red, and my nose is pretty red. I also just cut Richards hair last night, and he put some blonde highlights in mine last night. He does a great job! Oh, and he always looks sooooooo good when his hair is cut! I love it!

Today was our ward activity. They did a great job in organizing everything! Richard is trying out the stilts. He did actually get a few steps in as you can see as the pictures go on. Here's a picture of my mom and I, and then a picture of Richard and I. It was pretty hot out today, and because of the way I was sitting, only half of my body got burnt...nice eh?

I'm soooooooooooooo excited!!!! Ok, I should start from "the beginning". I have been a HUGE fan of the Backstreet Boys for 12 years now. I think when saying that I was a huge fan is an understatement. For thoughs that really know me, knew I was a wee bit obsessed. Almost a month ago I was checking on the web to see when and if they'd be coming to Calgary on their tour, and THEY ARE! I got myself so excited just to find out that their tickets were $250.00...PER TICKET! Well, all my hopes were shattered because there is NO WAY I could afford that. So, two days ago I checked my e-mail from ticketmaster saying that they're now selling bsb tickets...so I checked them out and they're only $40.00! Holy Mother of Pearl!!!! Needless to say that I got my tickets, and Miranda and I will be attending their concert September 2 in Calgary! YIPPY!!!!

A few weekends ago Mellissa was apart of a show at the Exhibition center selling her cute hats. My mom and Joan(Mellissa's Mother-Inlaw)watched Mellissa's kids for the duration of the show. We went with them for lunch and grabbed some pizza. Here's Easton showing his off. It was quite an adventure helping with all those kids. Even though we had as many adults as we had kids, they still gave us a run for our money. Those kids are great. The show was at the Exhibition Center, and when we left to go to the car there was a lady with some horses. The kids loved this horse in particular. Hayley wanted to get on the horse, but once she did well you can tell she wasn't too impressed. She wanted to get off, but I wanted to take a picture and of course my camera wouldn't work, so she had to sit there for a few minutes while I tried to fix it. It was funny to us. Here's Mady. She's so hilarious. That's the typical Madison, all dressed cute and clean,
Pain in the Butt Well, after hours of trying to figure out photopaint, I think we've got it. You'll have to be patient with me as I try to figure out how to work all of this. I think for my first try(with Richards help of course) it worked out well. Anyhow...we went to the Immigration office yesterday to check the process of Richards work permit. This past April(the 15th), we were given permission to apply for his work permit, and that it would only take 36 days. It has now been almost two months. The lady at the office told us that we should get something in the mail telling us the status within the next month, and it could be at least another month after that. WHO KNOWS???? It's so frustrating. At least we don't have to run to the mailbox like silly kids on Christmas morning hoping for our "Jackpot".
Well...today is my 27th birthday. I decided this year to focus more on my spiritual gifts, than material gifts. Of course material gifts are always fun, but they don't last forever right? So I've come up with a list of the many gifts that I've been given. 1. Well of course my first gift I feel is to be a daughter of God. I'm thankful for all of the blessings that have come into my life because of the love from my Heavenly Father and Savior. Without the Gospel in my life, the rest of my blessings wouldn't exist or mean as much to me. So every day I need to remember of the things that make me truly happy. 2.My husband...Richard. If I didn't have the gospel then I would have gone on a Mission. If I hadn't gone on a Mission than I wouldn't have met Richard...bada bing bada boom. I'm so blessed to have married my best friend, and I love him soooo much! It's an exciting thing to know that I get to spend the rest of my life with him, for all
