So much to be grateful for!

WOW...I haven't blogged in a while. I usually start most of my posts this way, don't I ?!

Well, I wanted to post today mainly because something really inspiring happened to me yest, but first, let me back up and give you some background on the situation.

I work for Truehope Nutritional Support. I work with people on the phones every day, encouraging them, and helping individuals with the struggles they may be having. We work with an amazing product called EMPowerplus. This product is a natural product, that pretty much takes the place of antidepressants, psychotropic meds. I work with people helping them to come off of those medications, and cross taper to the EMPowerplus. As a lot of you may already know, this can be a very challenging journey, especially when one is faced with depression, anxiety, bi-polar, etc. So, I work with individuals encouraging them to continue on the journey, and reminding them how just AWESOME they are, because THEY ARE! These people have so much courage and strength.

Well, back to what happened yesterday. We had a participant that we work with call in on the Emergency Line(my mother also works for the same company, and speaks to people after hours that may need some help). This women had an issue with her supplements, and ran out. I've been working with her for months. She doesn't live too far away from us, so I suggested she come and get some EMPowerplus from my mother.

Well, she did. I had the opportunity to meet her, and it was just amazing. I think for me, because I talk to people all day on the phones, but never face to face contact, it's not as real to me. Then, after meeting this amazing woman, it really hit home. She looked at me and said "You saved my life". WOW, I feel so inadequate and totally undeserving of that statement. It has made things so much more real to me now, that even when I am tired, and have no hope left to give anyone, I MUST reach down and pull it out and give it. I need to inspire, and make someone smile.

When I go to work tomorrow, I am going to be looking at things from a totally different perspective.

I thought this post was totall appropriate for this "thanks-giving season". I am SO THANKFUL for the opportunity and the blessing that I HAVE to share/give hope to others.
I am SO THANKFUL for the courage, strength and example that these amazing people give to me.

There is no greater thing on earth(in my opinion)than that of serving our brothers and sisters.

I know that this is where my Heavenly Father wants me to be, and I am THANKFUL for the blessing that I have to help so many people on a daily basis.
