Say it don't Spray it!

Hey All!  So I wanted to do a quick post night...sharing something that I totally LOVE! So most of you that know me know I'm kind of obsessed with make-up.  I love make-up....BIG TIME!  But one of the biggest disappointments with make-up is that you can take so much time doing your make-up just to have a big majority of it "washed off" by the early afternoon/evening.  This isn't the end of the of the world I suppose, but if I have to run errands after work I certainly do not wait to look like I'm melting...anyway... So years ago I started buying a setting spray from a fabulous company that I get a good majority of my make-up from(elf cosmetics)...their price is good as it's only $6.00..but when that is the only thing that I have run out of I definitely cannot justify spending a whack load on shipping and handling so I decided to find my own recipe.  MAC is known for their MAC fix and spray.  I again cannot justify buying it because it's CRAZY exp...

Oh, how I love music.  I love singing it, I love listening to it, and I love writing it.  Today I wanted to write about one of my passions...music.  Ever since I was a young girl I have loved music.  It of course helped that my family was full of music lovers.  My dad was a D.J. at one point and so we constantly listened to different types of music.  Both of my sisters and my mom sing, my brother plays several different instruments like the guitar and drums and I play the piano and flute.   Growing up when I was upset about something...what did I do?  I turned to music.  When I was scared of something, I would turn on some music and focus on the lyrics or the instruments.  When I was happy I BLASTED music...every chance I could get.  Music has always penetrated deep down to my core.  It is a part of who I am.  A song of different sorts can change my outlook on a day, can make me sad or happy and it can re...

3-2-1 Action

Okay, so if you haven't guessed it by now, today I wanted to blog about going to the movies....more specifically what we watch when we go to the movies theatre. I love watching a good movie.  I love the excitement that I get when something that I've wanted to see for SO LONG comes out.  I love the anticipation, and the unexpected.  I especially love when  a movie ends up being better than I expected. I love that feeling when the movie is over of pure satisfaction.  WISHING...that you could relive the past 2 hours or so...watch the movie again as if it was the first time. Recently Richard and I went to the movies to see Captain America 2...and we loved it.  We loved the humour, the action, and even the story line.  After the movie was over and we were on our way home...I had one of those thoughts..."man I wish we could go back and watch it again...for the FIRST TIME". Their are a lot of great movies out their...that bring that kind of satisf...

What does home mean to you?

Image
Well...here we are.  7 months later!  I feel like every blog post starts of this way.  I wanted to write a post to update our family and even friends on what our plans are over this next year or so. Richard and I have been praying and pleading for answers this year.  We feel like a change somewhere in our lives needs to be made....and recently we've received some answers.  One of these answers is regarding our "Home". What is a Home?  What makes a home?  I'm sure we've all heard the popular phrase " home is where the heart is". Home to me is a space I can be with the ones I love.  It could be in a cave, it could be a forest, it could be in a ruddy shoebox for all I care(okay I really don't want to live in a shoebox), lol.  But hopefully you get my point.  As long as I have my husband, my cats that's all I need to make a home. So, after many prayers for knowledge and then for confirmation, we've decided that over the next 1-2...

Count your Many Blessings...

Today is a post about blessings....and how thankful I am for mine.  Some of my most tressured blessings are: *My Heavenly Father & Savior- and the knowledge that I have been blessed with in regards to Religion. *My husband *My Family(both My side and Richards :) *MUSIC....MUSIC....MUSIC!!!! Oh how I love music. *My home *Having a reliable vehicle *Our Kitties :) *My Friends *The opportunity that I have to live in a free country and this list goes on...and on...and on. What brought this topic up?  Well both Richard and I got a raise today at work...and I have to say I am so thankful!  It really is appreciated by us and we both feel so blessed to work for such a great company who really cares about their employees.   Richard and I were talking about this other day...and how it's so easy to just want "more".  For example, you get something which is "more" than what you're used to(like a vacation)...and after getting used to th...

What a summer!

This summer has flown by...and we have been super busy!!!!  It's nice to know that things should start to slow down now...and we can breathe! Here's a brief recap of our summer fun... -July 1st week Richard and I traveled down to Idaho for the 1st Annual Roth Family Reunion...and had a total blast!  Oh...let me back up.  We got a new camper trailer, and we looooove it!  It is so awesome.  We were able to bring it down to Idaho with us.  We camped for a few nights up near Island park and that was so much fun.  Oh how I love having a new trailer...I will never camp again without it!  I mean seriously, who wouldn't love being out in the middle of no where with a flushing toilet and a shower????  After that week in Idaho My Aunt Sharon who lives in Ontario arrived for a 5 week holiday.  We then traveled up to Edmonton the weekend we got back from Idaho so Richard could take his "English" test which is a required test one must take to a...

Wassup??

Hello all!!! Wow...can you believe that is is May already?  OH...and we're not just in May...but we're over half way through it!  Nutso!  This year has just been flying by.  Well...last weekend was our first camp-out of the season, and it was a blast!  My mom and dad, Sister Miranda and her family, and Richard and I all went.  We didn't go to far, just a really nice campsite in Raymond.  It was so much fun!  I sure love camping(as long as we're in a nice warm camping trailer-where it's more cozy, and there's less dirt and less bugs!!!  The weather wasn't the greatest, but we dealt with it, and still had fun.  Richard and I(and anyone else that wants to tag along)...are going to try to go camping every other weekend this summer.  We really want to get use out of our camper trailer. That leads me to my next exciting pieces of news(that most of you will probably already know about) is that we traded in our Mazda Car for a Dodg...
